The company has succeeded in carrying out all scheduled maintenance checks on all its current aircraft types and contracted out component repairs and maintenance to qualified and competent vendors.

SAC (K) Ltd has contracted CMC Aviation and AIS to carry out maintenance work on their aircraft. These are reputable and licenced Aircraft Maintenance Organizations based at Wilson Airport.

Staff training and development

The company has recognized that competent and empowered employees translate to increases in sales. As part of its plan, the company is training one of its co-pilots at Delta Aeronautics in the USA at a cost of USD 50,000. In addition it organizes short course training and seminars for operational personnel so that the operation works meet ICAO standards. Furthermore it motivates its employees by rewarding by awarding them for good performance.

Research and development

The company’s endeavors to find better ways of operations have yielded good results that have reduced cost of operations significantly translating to very high profits at the end of the year 2008. It contracted an aviation consultant from Canada Martin Headlands who ran a research and assured that the company is on the right track and that would assist the sourcing of bigger aircrafts towards realizing the main objective of making the company an international entity.

Corporate social responsibility

Company respects the importance of the community thus contributes by refunding 2% of charter rate of all the flights done by charitable organizations. In addition we support   non formal schools and donated   sports items to youth teams in Kenya . The company also contributed USD 78,630 to construct a  ran -way at Walikale.
